Carissimi soci e amici della nostra Associazione,
fu grande gioia e buon auspicio quando Padre Slavko Barbaric benedisse
a Milano la statua di Padre Pio che la nostra Associazione avrebbe portato
a Medjugorje a simbolo dell’opera che ci proponevamo di realizzare.
Da allora abbiamo fatto un bel cammino: acquistato a
due chilometri dalla chiesa di Medjugorje un terreno di 65.500 metri
quadrati, adeguato per la dimensione del futuro ospedale (1200 malati), è
stato redatto un progetto esecutivo per la Prima Fase, il Dipartimento
Materno Infantile con pronto soccorso, pediatria
e relativo comparto operatorio, la maternità e l’ostetricia, la
foresteria per i parenti dei bambini ospiti.
L’Amministrazione del Comune di Citluk
Medjugorje con soddisfazione ha rilasciato il permesso di costruire sulla
base del
nostro progetto. Anche
le autorità del Cantone della Città di
Mostar sono molto
favorevoli al nostro progetto: attualmente l’unico ospedale di Mostar,
peraltro devastato durante la guerra civile 1991-95, non è in grado di
rispondere alle necessità di un territorio di 450.000 persone.
La
nostra opera è interamente affidata alla Provvidenza del
Signore che non manca
mai di farci sentire la Sua presenza.
L’intera area acquistata è stata ormai preparata,
recintata e secondo gli accordi con il Comune sono state realizzate
all’esterno le nuove piste pubbliche che prima l’attraversavano.
Con l’aiuto di una ditta locale contiamo di iniziare presto
il grande scavo della Prima Fase (fino alla profondità di 10.00 metri per
i piani interrati che ospiteranno gli impianti tecnologici) e proseguire
con la costruzione delle fondazioni e delle prime strutture portanti in
cemento armato.
Abbiamo davanti un cammino lungo e difficile, ma se ci
voltiamo indietro non
siamo più alla partenza, sono state ormai gettate le premesse necessarie
per la realizzazione di una buona opera.

Very dear members and friends of our Association,
It was a big joy and good auspice when Father Slavko Barbaric
blessed in Milan Padre Pio statue our Association would has brought to
Medjugorje like the symbol to the work we proposed
to
execute.
Already at the time we have done a beatiful walk:
bought to two kilometers from the church of Medjugorje a field of 65,500
square meters, adequated for the dimension of the future hospital (1,200
sick persons), it had drawn up an esecutive project for the thirst phase,
the Maternal Infantil Department with casualty
department, paediatrics and similar operating room, maternity ward and
obstetrics, guest-quarters for host children’s parents
The Administration of Citluk-Medjugorje Municipality
with satisfaction has issued the building permission in base of our
project.
Also Autorities of Mostar City Canton are very
favourable to
our
project: actually the only hospital in Mostar, though devasted during
civil 1991-1995 war, isn’t able to satisfate to necessities
of
a territory of 450,000 persons.

Our work is completely to Divine Providence that it is never lack to give
us its presence.
The whole bought area has been by now preparated,
enclosed
and
about the agrements with the Municipality have been realized outside the
new public ways that went across it before.
With the aid of a local firm we expect to begin soon
the big
digging
og the “First Phase” (till the 10,00 meters deep for the basements
that will albergate technological plants) and to continue with the
building of foundations and first load-bearing structures of reinforced
concrete.
We have got in front a long and difficult way, but we
aren’t
at
the beginning and the necessary bases of the execution of a good opera
have been layed down.
We thank You a lot since from now for all the things
that You could and would do to help us.

Medjugorje and St. Giovanni Rotondo in Italy, The place soaked with
St.Father Pio’s figure from Pietralcina, we have discovered that also

- Così come la nostra Associazione propone e realizza l’unione
spirituale fra Medjugorje e S. Giovanni Rotondo in Italia, il luogo
imbevuto della figura del Santo Padre Pio da Pietrelcina, abbiamo
scoperto che l’agenzia Glob Tour Megjugorje propone e realizza un bel
collegamento materiale fra i due luoghi santi, Medjugorje e S. Giovanni
Rotondo, con ben riusciti itinerari di pellegrinaggio
a mezzo dei suoi
